Mandala Workshops: Art classes for "non-artists."

Many people have closed the door on creativity.  Somewhere in their past, they decided something like: "I'm not an artist," and gave up on all kinds of fun activities, like drawing, coloring, and making things.  I strongly believe that every person has the capacity for self-expression, and I love to "draw" them out of their self-imposed restrictions, and into the realm of play, joy, and magic.
Drawing mandalas is a great strategy for rediscovering the joy of self-expression, as one can use the repetition of very simple shapes to create surprisingly beautiful and meaningful images.

I lead 1-2 hour workshops, live and via Zoom.  Participants/Clients have included:
  • Women's Retreat at First Unitarian Society,
  • Workshop for delegates at a regional meeting for the Unitarian Universalist Association.
  • Arc Stages fund raiser,
  • After school club for students at Green Chimneys,
  • Online class for here, There and Everywhere
  • Online class for the MS Society
  • In-service for coworkers at Los Ninos Services
  • Collaboration with connect.faith, churches and organizations for people with disabilities.
